Please note - We might also provide alternate brand blocks and clamps if Kingspan pipe support is not available at the warehouse near you. The specsification, size and quantity will remain the same Kingspan Kooltherm is the market-leading pipe-insulating solution. Well known for being the thinnest and most thermally efficient pipe insulation out there, it is also fire and moisture-resistant, thanks to its rigid-thermostat core. Phenolic pipe supports are made from phenolic resin, a thermosetting plastic material known for its high strength, dimensional stability, and resistance to chemicals, moisture, and heat. These phenolic foam blocks are provided with two-piece electro-zinc plated steel pipe clamps with ribbed profiling for optimal strength. About Phenolic Foam Blocks Kingspan Kooltherm pipe supports are available in a wide range of pipe diameters and insulation thicknesses to suit your project requirements. Manufactured from top-quality, high-density closed cell phenolic foam these pipe supports give optimum insulation performance and load-bearing capacity for pipework. Kooltherm pipe supports have durable aluminium foil with a self-adhesive closure strip to provide an effective vapour barrier seal. The block includes load-bearing metal spreaders for pipes 48mm and above. Phenolic pipe supports by Kingspan are designed to support the compressive loads of pipework carrying water or other liquids. They help isolate the pipework from the pipe support brackets to limit heat transfer and thermal bridging whilst maintaining a continuous vapour barrier through the system. Typically used with LTHW and CHW pipework systems these phenolic pipe supports can be used on a wide range of pipe types including copper, steel, stainless steel, carbon steel, multiplex and plastic. About Pipe Clamps: Steel Qwikclamps feature ribbed profiling for maximum strength and electro-zinc plating for durability. They have welded bosses with M8/M10 dual-tapped threads throughout the range and hexagon combi-drive screws for easy tightening. Qwikclamps are designed for supporting medium load pipework in building services installations. These clamps are recommended for internal use and tested for supporting static pipe loads in tension. Datasheet of Clamps Key Features of Pipe Supports: Secure Attachment: The clamps help secure the phenolic foam blocks to the pipe, ensuring a tight and stable connection that minimises stress on the pipe and prevents damage from vibrations and movements. Ease of Installation: The steel clamp component allows for quick and easy installation of the phenolic support, making it an ideal solution for piping systems that require frequent maintenance or adjustments. High Resistance to Corrosion: Phenolic resin is highly resistant to corrosive agents, making it ideal for use in harsh and corrosive environments. Cost-Effective Solution: Phenolic pipe supports with clamps are a cost-effective solution for providing support and stability to pipes in harsh and corrosive environments. Overall, phenolic pipe supports with clamps are a reliable and versatile solution for providing support to pipes and reducing thermal bridging, thus saving energy Applications: Phenolic pipe supports are compatible use on all types of pipes. They are recommended for internal use only. Note: There is a minium order value for this product Lead time for stocked items is 1-2 working days Lead time for non-stocked in 2-3 weeks The blocks and clamps can be quoted separately.
