F-Connector Compression Crimp ToolUsed for - This is an essential tool for anyone needing to crimp on compression F-Connectors to RG59 or RG6 coaxial cable. The crimp tool is designed to crimp RG59 and RG6 waterproof type connectors. Useful Features – Our high quality, professional crimp tool is extremely easy to use, a comfortable hand grip has also been installed to avoid causing any discomfort after extended use. There is a handy locking mechanism that keeps everything compact and safe when the crimpers are in your toolbox. The crimp tool is also waterproof allowing it to be used in a number of different environments without subjugating it to stress or damage.Directions – You will need to strip the PVC outer layer without damaging the core inside, you can do this with one of our cable strippers but if you are confident with a pair of snips/pliars, you can strip the outer layer away with one of those. Cut all of the way through the cable leaving the central copper conductor.You can now insert a compression connector over the top of the prepared cable. There is a rubber/plastic “O” ring inside of the connector that will go around the outer PVC layer of your cable. A metal ring inside of the connector will go under this outer layer of PVC making contact with the braid (shield) beneath. You should also ensure that you have stripped enough of the cable for the copper conductor to poke out of the top of the connector, this can be trimmed at a later stage if it is too long but around 10mm will be sufficient. The rubber “O” ring will create a seal suitable for outdoor use when the cable when has been crimped. You can now insert this connector into our crimping tool & close all of the way.
